How to know if your android phone has virus ?

In this post I will talk about android viruses and how you can detect if your phone has virus or not, There are very simple indications that might reflect this in your phone. Let’s have a look on these:-

Your data is draining very fast without even using it – Mobile data is being used by the malware to communicate with the host or its creator hence your internet is being heavily used and your limited data is draining out fast.

Overbearing ads and pop-ups are coming in your phone and you are seeing some weird ads in your search engine results. This happens when an adware affects your computer or smartphone and modify your browsing data so that you see fake search results. When you click these ads then virus creator makes money.

New apps downloading automatically or you see apps that are not downloaded by you – This happens when your smartphone is rooted and infected by some malware. That malware is downloading other spamy apps to full your device.

You notice that your phone battery is draining out faster than before without even doing anything on your phone – This is caused by malwares because these malwares are not optimized for smart batter usage and they constantly communicate with their host taking huge resources on your phone and as a result your battery drain out faster and you notice that your phone battery is not performing well.

Sending sms to random numbers or if you are getting otp messages – This means that your phone is infected or someone is trying to get your online accounts by requesting OTPs. If your phone is not infected then you don’t have to worry because without getting that otp the attacker wont be able to harm you. If your phone is infected then he or she might get that otp from your phone and you might loose the access.

So the main question here is how to stay safe and secure? Well there are some very simple things you can do to stay safe and almost un-hackable by bad guys. These things are:-

Never Click on unknown links

Never Download unknown apps and never sideload apps in the form of apk
