Why the iPhone doesn’t have good battery backup? Why Android is better in Battery?

You must have seen in many news articles where companies like Huawei distributing free power banks to iPhone users in front of apple store to make fun of apple brand. If you are an iPhone user then you know how far your phone’s battery can go in one charge. 12 Hours? 24 Hours? I am pretty sure not more than that, if you are using your phone normally and not just keeping it in a standby mode.

So here a question arises, why apple iPhone does not have a good battery backup? The question is very simple and hidden in high tech components and the design of the iPhone. iPhone is well designed slim smartphones with a beautiful and bright screen that consume great power from the battery apart from the screen there are two more components that consume battery at a great level CPU and Wireless communication. So a great retina display will consume great power and as we know iPhone is slim devices hence they can’t install a bigger battery in such thin body so they end up adding a lower capacity battery in such a beautiful device and as a result, we don’t get good battery backup. Battery technology is not very developed if we compare it with other things like processors and screens so apple has very limited options left.

When it comes to android then android smartphones normally don’t have that retina display and screen that consume extra power from the battery and android smartphones are thicker than iphones so companies have edge to add a bigger battery hence these phones give longer battery backup. I have seen android smartphones with 6000 mAh battery whereas iPhone have 2000mAh to 3000mAh battery. Apple should discover or make something extraordinary in battery technology if they really want to improve their smartphone’s battery life otherwise you have to have a powerbank with your iphone 😉
